How to distinguish the quality of ceramic tiles?
Look at the appearance. The color of the tiles should be uniform, the surface smoothness and flatness should be good, the surrounding area should be regular, and the pattern should be complete. Take four or five pieces from a box and check for defects such as color difference, deformation, missing edges and corners.
Listen to the sound. Lightly tap with a hard object, and the clearer the sound, the higher the degree of porcelain transformation and the better the quality. You can also pinch a corner of the tile with your left thumb, index finger, and middle finger, easily hang it down, and lightly tap the lower part of the tile with your right index finger. If the sound is clear and pleasant, it is considered the top grade; if the sound is dull and stagnant, it is considered the bottom grade.
Drip test. You can drop water droplets on the back of the ceramic tile and observe the speed of infiltration after the water disperses. Generally speaking, the slower the water absorption, the higher the density of the ceramic tile; On the contrary, the faster the water absorption, the sparser the density, and its internal quality is superior to the former.
4、 Measure with a ruler. The higher the precision of the edge length of the ceramic tiles, the better the effect after tiling. Buying high-quality ceramic tiles is not only easy to construct, but also saves time and materials.
Measure the size of each tile with a tape measure to see if there are any differences around the edges, and the one with high accuracy is considered the top grade.
In addition, observing its hardness, ceramic tiles are considered superior in terms of good hardness, strong toughness, and non fragility. Scratch each other with the edges and corners of the ceramic tile fragments, and inspect the damaged fragments.
